For the collaborative project “becoming boulder / kei worden” Dymph and I looked for inspiration at the geographic features and history of "the Wageningse Berg”, a lateral moraine formed during a recent Ice Age. We see a kinship with the migratory boulders that were displaced and deposited elsewhere by glaciers during the Ice Age.
Now I live on top of this berg, therefor I wanted to research some of its features.
I limited myself to only use locally found materials, including cardboard.
We wrapped up the collaboration with a small exhibition in the experimental gallery space of Atelier H-Art. My work in this space is a snapshot of what I have discovered and have transformed into images. It also shows my exploration of the materials I worked with.
