Yesterday I went in search of a good view of the Wageningse Berg. As it is not high at all and gently sloping on all sides except along the river, it's hard to take a picture that shows it well. I needed to go across the river and drive along the dike on that side. In the end the best view was at the ferry crossing Lexkesveer. Lexkesveer already existed in Roman times and was a place where the river was shallow and could be crossed easily. Remember that Holland is flat, so this Berg stands out ;-)
